No, we do not provide clothing on the Running with the Pack tour. Please make sure to dress according to the weather conditions.
Our tips for this are very simple:
We are offering our Running with the Pack tour already in November. If there is no snow yet, then the tour will take place on carts. We can only switch to sleds once there is a sufficient snow cover. Please also note that when the tour takes place with carts the distance of the ride is only 3 km. We can only offer the 5 km length once we have switched to sleds.
Yes, absolutely! The Running with the Pack tour is one of our family friendly tours, which is also suitable for very small children. The 5 km husky ride that this tour includes is usually a distance that even small children can handle out in the cold.
But please be aware that on this tour we do not provide any extra clothing. So please make sure that you dress your small child very warmly, as small children tend to get cold easier and are more prone to frostbite.
Yes, indeed, we provide transfers and they are already included in the price of the tour. We do not recommend that you drive to our kennel yourself as our kennel is remote and sometimes challenging to reach especially in winter. We do not offer any price reductions if you were to come with your own car. So we strongly recommend that you make use of our transfers.
For our Running with the Pack tour we only offer pickups from the three locations listed below. We do not offer pickups from anywhere else for this particular tour.
You will be picked up from the big parking lot just in front of Santa’s Husky Rides.
The easiest way to find the Santa’s Husky Rides location is through Google Maps. You can either follow this google maps link or you can type “Santa’s Husky Rides” into the search bar on your google maps app.
If you have a recent map of the Santa Claus Village, then you will find us listed there under the name “Santa’s Husky Rides” as well.
No, unfortunately not. For the Running with the Pack tour we only offer transfers from and to the three locations listed below.
