Finnish forests are full of pure health and superfood! Join our tour and learn more about herbs, berries and mushrooms growing locally. Learn about the strong culture of living off the land, and gather superfood from our own forests like a local.
After walking in the calming forest and gathering nature’s goods, we’ll enjoy a snack around the campfire. If we have enough gathered berries, we can prepare them together for a tasty treat!
If you don’t need transfers, you can also arrive to our kennel with your own car. Please be in contact with the sales office for further driving instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions
This depends very much on which time of the ear you will come for your tour. What is growing and can be picked from the forest very much depends on the season and the tour guide will decide what you will be looking for during your trip based on the season. This varies between different kinds of berries, herbs and mushrooms that grow around our kennel area.
The snack can also depend on the day and what you will be gathering from the forest. But campfire lätty (pancakes) or makkara (sausages) made on the fire are the most common options that we will be offering, on top of the things gathered during the forest walk. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions prior to your tour date.
During the tour you will be going into the forest, so bring comfortable clothes that you can spend time outside. Please also dress according to the weather and wear something where you would not mind that it gets a little bit dirty.
The transfers from the chosen locations are included in the price of the tour. But if you will not be using our transfers for the tour, you can meet closeby to our kennel by the locked gate. Our guide will then meet you there and lead you to our kennel area to park your vehicle. You will get a google maps link to the exact meeting location when you make your booking.
