About the Tour
Discover the fascinating world of working sled dogs with an authentic behind-the-scenes visit to our kennel in Sinettä, Rovaniemi.
During this guided 2-hour visit, you will meet our friendly dogs and learn what life at a modern kennel looks like during the summer months. Walk through the kennel area, hear stories about the dogs’ daily lives, training and care, and discover the strong bond between mushers and their dogs.
Spend time in our free-running area with adult and senior dogs, enjoy plenty of cuddles and get to know their individual personalities. You will also meet our adorable puppies and learn how future sled dogs grow and develop from their very first days, a moment many guests find unforgettable.
Depending on the weather conditions, you may also get to experience a short cart ride and witness the huskies passion for pulling and working together.
This experience offers a genuine and educational look into the life of working sled dogs in Lapland and is perfect for animal lovers, families and anyone curious about mushing culture.

For animal welfare reasons husky ride is included only weather permitting, 15 degrees celcius or colder, otherwise it’s too hot for the huskies to pull.
If you need a transfer to the activity, please choose the pickup location when making the booking.
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event.
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event.
Yes, absolutely! The Life of the Husky tour is one of our family friendly tours, which is also suitable for very small children. If you have an infant with you, it is also possible to join this tour with a baby carriage or stroller.
The tour takes place at our kennel, so bring comfortable clothes that you can spend time outside. Please also dress according to the weather and wear something where you would not mind that it gets a little bit dirty.
The tour will last just two hours, so we will only be offering juice and cookies here at our kennel. If you feel like having some snacks with you please feel free to bring your own. Taking something to drink is advisable, but we are selling some here at our kennel as well.
If you will not be using our transfers for the tour, you can meet closeby to our kennel by the locked gate. Our guide will then meet you there and lead you to our kennel area to park your vehicle. You will get a google maps link to the exact meeting location when you make your booking.
