Sled Dog Guide (5 openings)

Bearhill Husky is one of the leading and most dynamic husky kennels in Finnish Lapland. You won’t just make someone’s day, you’ll be creating unforgettable moments for visitors from all over the world.

Job description/tasks:

As a Sled Dog Guide at Bearhill Husky, you’ll be part of a professional, passionate and international team delivering unforgettable adventures in the Arctic.

Your days will be filled with:

Guiding guests on husky tours
Driving sleds, snowmobiles and assisting with logistics and safety operations
Sharing stories, entertaining, and building connections with people from all around the world
Taking care of our incredible dogs and ensuring their well-being
Working long days, in all weathers, and loving every bit of it

We are looking for:

To succeed in this role you must meet the following criteria:

Minimum of 18 years old
Fluency in English (our working language)
Possess a strong sense of customer service and hospitality
Be in good physical condition and display resilience under pressure
Possess a positive attitude and team spirit
Have the ability to work independently and take initiative
Posses a valid class B drivers license (automobile)

Bonus skills we love:

Prior experience in guiding, tourism, or seasonal outdoor jobs
Animal handling experience, especially with dogs
Experience with snowmobiles (or willingness to learn quickly)
