Wilderness Snowshoe Hike
2,5 hour program with a break at a campfire.
To snowshoe in the most beautiful winter surroundings gives the body and soul tremendous well-being. The simplicity of practicing this sport makes it the easiest of all winter sports, because if you can walk, you can snowshoe.
From our Husky kennel, if we are lucky with huskies at our side, we head deeper into the arctic taiga forest or out onto the pristine frozen white Viiksjärvi Lake, the snowshoes allowing us to effortlessly float across the deep snow. Take a breath of pure and fresh air and feel all your worries disappear. All the while our guide shares captivating stories and information about the Arctic region, the animals and fauna one can find here and of course our beloved huskies.
This 2,5 hour experience includes a stop at a fire place where we have a warm juice, a sweet bun or sausage and warm up.
